Corn Drops to Multi-Year Lows

My charts don't go back far enough for me to see the last time corn had dropped to a price this low. We have now set new lows not only for 2009, but we have also dropped through the low support levels from December 2008 also. The same is true for wheat. Weak broader markets and slackening demand from weak markets are driving this plunge.

Update: I checked long-term charts. Corn hasn't been this cheap since at least 2002 -- at least 7 years! The charts in 2002 still were in the $5/bushel range, so it is possible that corn hasn't been this cheap in many more years beyond that! Wheat was around $4.50/bushel in January 2007.
