NEW YORK—Stocks opened lower as investors digested a bleak assessment
for global growth and waited to see whether the start to earnings
season would underscore economic worries.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average ticked down 22 points, or 0.2%, to
13563 in the minutes after Tuesday's opening bell. The Dow fell 26.50
points, or 0.2%, on Monday, snapping a three-session win streak.
